<Cake ør Death> is an adult oriented guild designed for mature players to have fun in a unrestricted environment.
We are not a heavy raiding guild and at the moment are comprised of mostly low to mid level toons and their Evil Twin's. We are a friendly and helpful guild and most of all promote having fun while playing WoW!
Welcome! This rank is just as it says, it's for guys who just joined the guild and are still wet behind the ears. After a month at being at this rank you may be promoted up to a full fledged member. This is a trial period to see if you like it in the guild and vice versa. As a bonus Initiates that play exceptional well with the guild can be promoted after the 2 week mark providing they receive a 2/3 majority vote from Officers and have signed up for and obtained member status on the guild Forum.

Evil Twin basically denotes this is not your main toon but just that an Alt. Evil Twin's have all the privileges of members and are only ranked different to separate them from a persons main toon. Since we allow Alts in the guild this rank was created to accommodate that.
These are people that handle administrative aspects of the guild such as Web Admin, Treasurer, Diplomacy, Guild events, and so forth. They are acting leaders if Vierzigdrei is absent and can provide answers to questions and help with quests.
This rank is reserved for members that are in limbo, believe me you don't want to be here, this is one small step from being asked to leave the guild. You can still recover from this rank and we hope that this can serve as a warning and not a punishment. The length of time you will spend in Purgatory is up to you and your willingness to comply with guild policy and resolve the issue that has landed you in Purgatory to begin with. While in Purgatory a person will be able to read guild chat but that's about it, all other privileges are removed for the duration of your time in Purgatory.
Something to note about ranks. We don’t stress over the importance of someone being higher then someone else rank wise. This guild is out to do one thing: be a group of people who like to play together and look out for one another. If the name of your rank inside the guild is going to prevent you from doing this, then simply put this isn't the guild for you.
Donated items can be sent to Cakeorbank via in game mail. Whatever is donated will be available to any members that need it and a full list of Guild Bank inventory is available in the Guild Bank section of this site. It is a first come first serve basis and you may be turned down for an item depending on whether you have recently received too many items or someone else has asked for it first. Don’t spam the Vault with greedy requesting. *As a general rule we don't allow Initiate's to withdraw from the guild bank until they reach member status or have donated an equal or greater amount to the guild bank.
No one is required to come to any events but they are STRONGLY encouraged. As the more you participate the more you are known within the guild and get to know more people within it.
Try to make your posts informative and to the point. Avoid spam and bickering/flaming, as this may result in disciplinary action. But also feel free to use the topics and discussions for whatever you want to talk about. There is no restrictions on forum topics except please keep to discussion topic. If you want to change the subject please start a new thread.
We are a mature guild and we try to promote a friendly, family like atmosphere in guild so there are certain activities that will not be tolerated! These include Ninja Looting, Kill Stealing, verbal or Physical harassment, threats (to guildies or non-guildes), & begging for money and or items in or out of guild. This type of activity can very easily hurt the entire guild's reputation and as a result we have a very low tolerance for these type of activities. If caught or reported doing any of these there will only be one warning the second offense will result in removal from the guild.
While we realize that people have families, jobs and lives outside of the game and can’t always find time to play. That’s okay, but if you plan on not being online for an extended period of time please let a guild officer know either in game or on the guild forum. Periods of undocumented inactivity longer than 90 days will result in removal from the guild. The only exception to this is Evil Twin's, after 60 days of inactivity on an alt we will assume that this is no longer a played character and will remove that character from the guild. We do not institute this policy as a punishment, merely a way to keep our roster current with active players.
